MANDEVILLE  – After more than 23 years we moved our iconic business, the Anne Dale’s jewelry store moved into a newly remodeled, retail commercial condominium at 829 Asbury Drive in Mandeville.

The local jewelry store relocated all its sparkle, moving one mile north where the Service Road meets Asbury Drive, an address familiar to many of its regular customers: 829 Asbury Drive, Mandeville by Speedway Printing, The Arm Merchant and next door to The Pineapple Gallery.

New Jewelry Store

Anne Dale Jewelers has been seeking to relocate for sometime, according to Anne Dale. When the opportunity to own our location, in close proximity to the old spot presented itself with Highway 190 exposure, we acted fast to acquire the property.

The 829 Asbury Drive, Suite 1 was nearly perfect with minimal changes required to accommodate a fine jewelry store. While the space was slightly narrower, it was much deeper allowing about 30% more jewelry shop space.

Much has changed since 1999, when the Dale family first opened its jewelry store doors in Mandeville. Today, fewer people visit the Post Office on St Ann, the street traffic has become horrific, the limited parking lot along with the aging mechanicals in the building also factored into the move. We didn’t see ourselves as a typical strip mall jewelry store,” Dale said. “By owning our new location that dynamic changes allowing for investment in the property.

“It proved to be a great partnership with our new neighbors and we’ve gained a lot of new customers using Asbury Drive and Highway 190 visibility.” Anne Dale said.

Terri Hamilton owner at Pineapple Gallery, said that Anne Dale’s is a natural fit for the shopping center, located in one of the most affluent residential areas in Mandeville.

“Even though we moved we still have everything from the other store, we just tighten up wasted space,” Anne’s husband Michael Dale said. “We are blessed to feel right at home in our new store and welcome all.”

Engagement Rings

Which is a beautiful time when love is blooming and couples are taking that first step into their happily ever after together. Engagement rings and wedding band trends are changing this season as brides move from traditional bridal standards to reflect their own personality. This post shares some upcoming trends that are making a comeback, so if you and your fiance are shopping together this will introduce new styles for the season. If he is going in alone, send this to him as one of those not so sly hints us ladies are all guilty of leaving.

Oval and radiant cut diamonds are becoming more popular, an ovals long shape is flattering on the hand and the radiant cut exhibits maximum sparkle. Hidden halos add an unique touch to a solitaire. A hidden halo wraps around the bottom of a stone, making it visible only from the side profile. It is a great accent to add for the classic bride who wants a hint of extra sparkle.

As the saying states, “what goes around comes around”. This is ringing true for this seasons new bridal trends. Victorian inspired rings are popping up more in jewelers’ shops. This style is perfect for the vintage bride who likes to sparkle. Victorian rings often have a single or double halo with rows or clusters of diamonds set in yellow gold. Another vintage style making a comeback is the Toi Et Moi style, it displays two stones set side by side. Toi Et Moi means ‘you and me’ and symbolizes the love between two partners. Many celebrities have been seen wearing this stunning vintage style. The most common stone combinations have been a diamond with an emerald, pearl, or sapphire. The Toi Et Moi is a romantic option for the couple who wants to show their love and have a beautiful piece to symbolize their partnership.

Stackable Rings & Diamond Wedding Bands

Every love story is unique, and so is the symbolism attached to wedding bands. While classic diamond wedding bands continue to exude timeless elegance, modern brides are embracing the trend of petite stackable rings to add a touch of individuality and style to their bridal set. In this article, we explore the charm of petite stackable rings and classic diamond wedding bands, focusing not only on the bride’s choices but also shedding light on the options available for the groom.

Petite stackable rings have swiftly become a popular choice among modern brides. These delicate bands, often adorned with small gemstones or intricate designs, offer versatility and the opportunity for personalization. Brides can mix and match different rings to create a unique stack that mirrors their personality and preferences. Whether it’s a pop of color with sapphires or a touch of vintage elegance with filigree patterns, these rings allow brides to tell their story in the most intimate way possible.

Classic Diamond Wedding Bands: Timeless Sophistication

On the other end of the spectrum, classic diamond wedding bands continue to capture hearts with their timeless appeal. Crafted with precision and adorned with sparkling diamonds, these bands symbolize eternal love and commitment. The brilliance of diamonds complements any engagement ring, adding a touch of sophistication and glamour to the bride’s ensemble. Classic diamond wedding bands are available in various styles, from channel-set diamonds for a sleek look to pave-set diamonds for a more intricate design.

Wedding Bands for Him: Masculine Elegance

While much attention is often given to the bride’s rings, it’s essential not to overlook the groom’s wedding band. For the groom, simplicity and sophistication are key. Classic options such as plain gold or platinum bands are perennial favorites, offering a timeless and understated look. However, modern grooms are also embracing unique materials like tungsten or titanium, known for their durability and contemporary aesthetic. Some grooms opt for subtle diamond accents or textured finishes to add a touch of personality to their wedding band.

In the world of wedding jewelry, there’s a perfect ring for every couple, reflecting their unique love story and individual style. Whether the bride prefers the trendy allure of petite stackable rings or the timeless elegance of classic diamond wedding bands, or the groom leans towards a traditional gold band or a more contemporary design, the options are diverse and captivating.
