Ten Years Later

At the tenth anniversary of hurricane Katrina Congressman Steve Scalise wears one of the original “badges”.  Originally only twelve pendants were made as worn by Scalise here with President George W Bush and his wife Laura.

Another original Love New Orleans pendant made after hurricane Katrina found it way to actor/comedian Dan Aykroyd.

Mr Aykroyd commission Anne Dale to craft 500 pieces that he gifted to the brave first responders. To date nearly 60,000 pendants have been sold raising approximately a quarter-of-a-million dollars for local non-profits and charities helping in the hurricane recovery.
This design was the beginning of an entire collection by Anne Dale “Jewelry for a Cause” which raises awareness, money and the spirits of people in need.
